I wonder if anyone has tried to make a passenger back rest into a drivers back rest. Thoughts?

Look up the Grasshopper drivers backrest and see how it attaches. I have never seen one in person but yours is very similar and I am sure that it can be mounted in the same way with a little ingenuity and effort.

I have one. Will take photos when I get back home. By the way it works great. It takes a lot of stress off the arms under heavy acceleration (so I heard). It also makes it much easier to relax and just cruise. I had mine but down a bit by a local upholsterer as I thought the rest was too thick.

My seat is a two piece unit and the additional backrest uses stock bolt holes in the front seat.
