Good morning!
Brazilian coffee ready for you.
One cup will make you reboot.

Last night was my goodbye rehearsel with the choir.
Speaches, gift and kind words.
Sometimes I wish men could cry too.

On my way to pick up Peter, he’s a bit under the weather, so no kindergarten.
This will occupy the reminder of the day.

10˚c/50f, calm, rain, lots of it.

Have a good one!
Stu

Pic from Sunday, driving home from Oslo. Waterfalls everywhere these days, as the snow has died.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the reboot coffee (kaffi?) Stoo.

It's 53°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville, where scattered light rain is possible from 1500 hours onward. This high could be around 69.

The rain won't arrive until I've finished the morning round of goof (today is Old Guys "league" day, since yesterday was a holiday). After I've finished that I'll head to my friend's place for an afternoon of uke practice. Due to travel and a couple medical appointments I won't be able to play with the regular Thursday group again until July so this session will have added value.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Forecast:
Morning: slightly exhaustion with 100% coffee requirement
Afternoon: high chances of scattered sarcastic comments

G'Day...

over 'Brazilian' having a different meaning in my corner of the woods, I'll stick to Nespresso and Nescafé on an empty stomach... ;)

12°/19°C, noticeable winds, partially cloudy, should stay dry...

Office, routine, dull, thus an addendum about the weekend I'd forgotten to mention yesterday:

sharpening a bunch of kitchen knives on a wet stone can safe quite some $$ on the long run...

But the stare of the neighbors for doing this out on the terrace, displaying a broad "Dexter" grin towards them... priceless!!...

enjoy the day!

good morning all. thanks Stu for the coffee. 67F on the dog walk with a star filled sky to enjoy. wife said something about cleaning and vacuuming her car this morning. its going to be 96F this afternoon so I hope she starts early. I did say I would help so we will see how that turns out. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Stoo.

It's 50 and sunny in MA this morning, rising to 77 with continued sun and clouds.

Yesterday's visit with Joe, Megan, Elouise and Oliver didn't take place as planned, since Megan's BP kept her in the hospital for another day. Instead we drove into Boston to visit with the new parents and Oliver. He bears a striking resemblence to Joe, which means that he's very handsome. Afterwards, we stopped by the other in-law grands for dinner, socialization, and also to see Elouise. Good times.

Today, I'll bring our cat Freya to the vet, and then on with the day,
Gym, maybe, and I'll stop by my friend's restaurant to adjust his outdoor lights. We'll see if Brenda wants to ride before her bowling night.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, and thanks for the kaffi, Stu! It is only fitting that the choir give you a heartfelt send-off; I'm sure you'll be missed.

We have an absolutely gorgeous day to enjoy here, with bright sunshine in a clear, blue sky and temperatures ranging from the current 13°C/55°F to 25°C/77°F (which will feel like 27°C/81°F). Not too shabby.

Welp, much to do, so I'd best get a move on. Everyone have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning Stu & All from before the Sun comes up in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 56F, but it doesn't matter what it's heading for, since we'll be 400 miles away by then, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they'll be having thunderstorms! :rolleyes-2x:

I didn't sleep at all last night so I should be in great form today! :censored:

I need to hook up the trailer to the truck, then eat and we'll get out of here as soon as possible.

No food or drink yet, Chris isn't up yet, since it's only 6AM. :censored:

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

See ya when I get back, around June 6th. :thumb:

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks for the cup, Stu.

67/76, with still more thunderstorms for this afternoon. Yesterday was so cloudy that my outdoor security light stayed on all day. Now, an hour after sunrise, and it’s still on. I guess I’ll use the wet weather as another opportunity for household chores.

John

Morning all! Overcast with the sun doing its best to try and break through. It's 11C right now with a high of 19C predicted for later.

Congrats on the send off Stu, no doubt you'll be missed. Reminds of the novel by Joseph Wambaugh, the Choirboys. They engaged in an entirely different type of choir practice, though if memory serves, there was the odd organ playing involved in that one as well.

Still waiting on my new back tire. I know its shipped but they didn't provide a tracking number so I can't obsessively compulsively check it every 5 minutes. We neurotics deserve excellent customer service as well gosh darn it. :D

My daughter is heading back to Montreal tomorrow to do the final cleanup on her apartment there and to help her old roommate move to Halifax. Her roommate is originally from the USA but is applying for permanent residency and her new job in Halifax will help sponsor her. They joke that they will now have both coasts covered.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Brazilian? I'm in, Stoo, if there's any left. If not, it's ok, I've satisfied, the daily initial coffee crisis management period and had my first pot, and now I'm at the office in caffeine maintenance mode. I mean, just so long as Brazilian doesn't include any wax. I hate wax in my coffee.
Storms, storms, storming, stormed... it's been a really, really wet May so far, most unusual for our summer weather patterns, and therefore minimal riding, and taking the car to work every day. Besides Kaiser's trailer carpet taking two consecutive hot days to dry, I'm not excited about drying off a large GSD in the office, and the accompanying annoying wet dog smell.
The pouring rain on my office window is making me want to take a nap so badly... it's almost criminal to have to work at this time.
Makes me feel sad for those of you who indulge in the hamster-wheel mind games in the nighttime, and makes me feel sad for me when I'm still not retired and can't legitimately take a nap when the urge comes over me.
And I kick myself for fighting daytime naps when I was 4 and 5 years old. I had no idea...

Good morning, well I guess it’s a good morning. I’m in emergency at the moment waiting to get a shot of Calicium, doctors orders. Calcium levels are low enough to cause a heart attack. So much for a healthy diet keeping me healthy. Guess my body needs more time to heal. Okay typing on my phone is not that easy so will wish you all a good day G
