My morning zen is coffee...
Aligning my chakras one sip at a time...

G'Day...
11°/21°C, sunny, bright... (after two days with monsoon like downpours)... and we've a Holiday! (Whit Monday)
GF outside, snipping weeds, killing bugs...
Sent the lawn drone on its mission (in style, via phone app, how to do it these days...) and installed a new heater/faucet on the garden sink,
so we don't have to drag our dirty paws back into the house for cleansing...
Worked on the '94 ST the past two days...
valve adjustment, carb overhaul, and then some...
Also 'white helmet with bike speaking now is'... read: removed the Autocom ProM1 (with heavy heart
) and installed a SENA BT interface...
So the white Shoei Neotec (yep, first gen) with its Sena 10U is now paired with this ST... FM stereo, iPod, Garmin Quest-I... and BT bike to bike with ze GF...
carb sync on that '94 bike is quite a challenge, nearly 200,000km on... can't do it in idle... linkages have worn way too loose to get steady readings...
As I rarely 'idle around' anyway I sycned it at 3000 and 4000rpm... smooth! And really prompt on the throttle...
Still not totally satisfied, will need to replace the cams...
Despite being dead center with the valve clearances now, whist very smooth revs a noticeable "...dap-dap-dap..." on the outlet cams in idle, and it aren't the valves, the springs in the spur gears have become weak (you can drop the cams in by hand, while you'd normally require a large screwdriver to twist/align the sprockets to mesh...); will have to loot my stash for the replacements...
A family gathering later on, DIL has invited to a "father's day lunch"... will have a feast there...
have a good one!
