1997 ST 1100
Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 1997 ST1100 barn find with 6,300 miles on it! Had to go through the whole fuel system as the gas had gummed up from
sitting for so long! After going through the carbs multiple times was able to start enjoying it. Finally talked the wife to go on a road trip (day trip) up to the mountains other than
riding around the block this was her maiden trip. I've been riding for years so she trusted me and the bike is really smooth and enjoyable. But sometimes stuff just happens a few
miles from home someone ran a stop sign and T-Boned us. Managed to hit me right on my foot breaking my leg, wife did a little Ricky Henderson but was fine. Then all I could think
about how cherry the bike was and that it was going to be hard to find replacement parts to get it back together. Also the fact that I'm not going to be able to ride for a large part of
summer(bummer)! I was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to find rear view mirror covers in red?

Thanks, Jason

That's a heck of a maiden voyage, sucks that it happened.

Other than the for sale forum on here and EBAY there is a copy made in China that has been mentioned on here. Hopefully someone who knows of it will chime in.

Heal well!

Spmeone posted the manufacturer for the ST1100 version but I didn't find it. The below link is to a company who makes them for the ST1300. Check through their listing or contact them to ask about the ST1100 covers. At least it is a starting point.

Jason - Finding rear view mirror covers in the R158P is like looking for the end of the rainbow.
Your best choice is to get some other color (IIRC there are some white ones on EBay).
Then get the paints (requires base coat, top coat and clear coat) you need from Colorrite and paint them.

Welcome to the forum from Cornwall UK! Try David Silver, I bought one last year following a tip over. The colour's code should be on a sticker under the seat.
Sorry to hear about your accident but glad that it wasn't more serious.
