Reverse bleed method?

Has anybody used the reverse bleed method, where you pump fluid from the caliper up to the reservoir with a 100cc syringe?

Will this method work on the ST1300 with the linked brake system ?

As a general practice I wouldn't do it. I have no desire to push the crap that is in the calipers throughout the entire hydraulic system.

The better solution is a pressure bleeder. You can get adapters that will replace the brake/clutch reservoir plates, and it pressurizes the system so you can just open the bleeder with it under pressure to flush. The one I use has a tank that replenishes what is pushed out so you don't run low.

I use it for my cars as well. Saves a ton of time.

Except those really push crap around in the system, and I have see. The
Clog up the cartridge in the SMC when used.
