SOS - ST1300 stalling after idle adjustment

Had the chance to ride the bike to/fro work today, after riding for a period of time and after revving the engine above 4K RPM, observed lost of power and intermittent power surges again.

....... plugged stuff back In wrong maybe?
Would not be the first time.
.

Happened to me first time I went in there. Not plugged wrong, but one hose not fully engaged and disconnecting, causing symptoms similar to @JingleJ

You didn't happen to use any silicone spray, or anything slippery to install the hoses did you?
Sounds more and more like an air leak from the hoses.
Is the bike throwing any codes?
Is the FI light remaining on?
Sounds like you may be in "limp home" mode.
Try reading the codes, then clearing the codes.
It may be a historical code.
YES, a starter valve sync would definitely help smooth things out, and possible solve the stalling issue.
I would also very carefully check all the FI wires and look for chewed wires.
Most commonly chewed wires are usually behind the TB housing on the left rear wires for some reason.
Good luck, keep us posted.

You mentioned loss of power, and riding above 4K RPM etc.
IF you are getting an FI warning light, you should check the codes.
If you have a light showing, and you clear it, providing it clears, then if it re appears it should be an ECU issue.
