Wow, I could have saved $60 if you had found that in '06!!! Great find Joe.

Huh? THIS is the Owners Manual, NOT the Service Manual... The OM is the one that comes with the bike.

Ooooops!!! Oh, well, I gave that up when I traded the bike, but still have the shop manual.

This is the OWNERS manual NOT the SERVICE manual.
(comes with the bike)

Usefull tho to have an electrontic version or a replacement.

There is no legit electronic version of the oem SERVICE manual.

Another really handy thing to have is the enlarged wiring diagram LINK
And detailed lighting section LINK

I do have an electronic version of the shop manual that I bought from internet. It is on a dvd. I have no idea where I bought it. Some of the pdf scans are a bit hard to read. They are out there if you pursue it.

found I couldn't download the 2010 manual...2003 opened fine...anyone else had an issue... is there a fix

I’ve never looked at the ST’s Owners manual until now.
Just learned we are supposed to shift into 5th at 31mph
The things one can learn from reading directions.

One of the many nice things about the ST, the gear ratios & capable road speeds.

Though, obviously, 5th at 31mph, she won't be too responsive on the gas should a side hazard present itself. So you could be limiting escape options by following the book to the letter.

Good for economy though.

I have a 2007 model. Which of the two PDF file owners manuals should I use (until I find the perfect one for my bike)?

Should I go with the 2003 owners manual or the 2010 version?

It doesn't really matter. Nothing on the motorcycle changed over its entire production run that is affected by the information in the owners manual.
I would go with the 2010 simply because it is a better PDF with functional links in it which makes navigation easier.

The service manual has differences between the 2007 and earlier years vs the 2008 and later years. Both versions have the pre 2008 information in them so you can go with either version of the service manual.
