I tried searching the site, didn't find anything that fit exactly my situation. I have 2008 ST1300 non ABS- Took a little ride, about 50 miles, no issues bike ran great until I stopped for a red light when the bike just shut off. Would crank- starter fine spun right over but wouldn't start. Pushed to the side of road, checked kickstand, kill switch, neutral start, everything worked correctly, except wouldn't start. Loaded and got home unloaded off trailer and tried to start and it started right up. Have started several times over the week and it has started every time. I do hear the fuel pump running before start, the one thing I didn't check when on the side of the road (I had my helmet on and was in frustrated mode....). Was thinking maybe the fuel hose in tank ruptured, but it is starting fine, I have not taken it back on the road yet. Didn't drop the bike anytime, wondering if bank sensor or other issue causing this. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

The fuel pump runs, but does stop, I'm assuming that is when it gets to correct pressure.

Mine did the same kind of thing when my fuel pump was acting up.
Mainly happened when I was low on fuel on a hot day.
Purchased and after market fuel pump and a gasket and filter.
Then a great deal came up on another ST1300. Bought that bike and have yet to change out the faulty fuel pump and related parts on my #2 bike.
