THE BEST seat cushion EVER

Above is a link to what I feel is the BEST seat cushion ever. I traveled to Billings MT from San Francisco on my STeed that has a Sargent seat on it. On top of the seat WAS a medium sized Airhawk. About 1500 + miles of drivng to Billings MT. While in Billings I found the ABOVE seat cushion :bow1: I then did 2500 miles homes in 6 days. This cushion is ABSOLUTELY wonderful. NO MORE bulging in the crotch area when leaning back (OUCH). The sides are tapered (unliked the Airhawk). I used to get an annoying soreness in my inner thigh area from the Airhawk. There are TWO air bladders so that you don't get that feeling of the air moving from side to side. I HIGHLY recommend this seat cushion over Airhawk or any gel cushions I've tried.

Happy Riding

Rene..if you order an alaska buttpad type in the wors "deadsheep" in the coupon box and get 10% off..I have one an love it...super hot days in florida the passenger seat is burning and the drivers seat is just a little warm...maybe those sheep know something we don't ...

Got for $145 at Wing Ding in Billings this year. It comes with a BLACK cover like the AIRHAWK. Tell them you saw it at Wing Ding and would like the same price. $145

LOVE IT :bow1:

OK. Just got off the phone with gentlman I dealt with at Wing Ding. He said anyone could have the $145 price (normally $178) plus shipping by using the following code when ordering. It DOES come with a BLACK cover like the Airhawk.

Which web site is that? I don't see any place to order on the Star Products web site.

Thanks,

I could see how the "STARCUSHION" would be superior to the "Air Hawk". They got an idea from a GREAT product, re-designed it, and made it even better. I own the Air Hawk 14"x14" and I love it. However, I think I'll be checking out this new STARCUSIHON soon. I'm convinced just by looking at it. Thanks for sharing this info...

Having said that, what I don't understand is why spend so much money on a Corbin or Sargent seat, only to put a pad over them.

Someone posted a pic of Hunter's Specialties? Bunsaver Seat Cushions that can be found at Bass Pro Shops.

While we were on our trip, after our first two legs and staying with my wifes brother and his wife, we set out to see if we could find it in Dubuque, IA. In a farm supply shop, low and behold, my wifes a$$ found it. For $9.99 it was worth the shot. Placed it between the Alaskan Leathers Buttpad and the Sargent seat, it worked far better than either my wife or I would have expected (it was obviously for my wifes use).

I will be using spray adhesive and some of that non-slip shelf liner on both sides of the pad to keep it from sliding around so much.

Thanks to whomever posted up about that pad...sorry, don't remember who it was.

I know I have used those all the way back to 2002!!! For $9.95,,, impossible to beat!!! It worked PERFECTLY on my Connie and I really thought it was as comfy as the airhawk back then...

I would unscrew the valve set on the bike with it on it,,, and let almost all the air out of it and then screw it tight... It formed to the shape of your arse and was a HUGE difference maker when riding my Corbin back then... 20 seconds,,, and I could have it off too...

Toypro/Dan is using 1 on his Goldwing after seeing mine and,,, L O V E S,,, it!!!

Just go to their website and go to the CONTACTS tab and either call them or send tjem an e-mail. I LOVE MY CUSHION. Also made to last.

Thanks Dana for reminding me to get the sheepskin before I leave for WeSToc.

You're welcome Mike. Funny, because when I was at Fred's (finewest) this past weekend he was showing me his brand new Alaskan Sheepskin butt pad. I asked him what he was going to do with the old one, but he just turned beet red and refused to answer.

XWINGER: I have looked at these on the web but they have very little info on them. What size did you get for your ST?
The guy I talked to on the phone had no idea.
