Thursday, June 12th coffee

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Obo.

It's 63 and sunny in Concord, NH this morning, going to 83, later.

We had a good first day at the track , yesterday.
Brenda flagged turn 8, and had no action, although the view was amazing.
I worked turns 3/10, and saw a few visitors.

We started seeing some Motoamerica bikes arriving as we were leaving, yesterday, so imagine that the pace with pick up a bit.
Hopefully , everyone will stay safe on two wheels.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Obo!

The air here is much clearer today, the sun is shining and there's no haze. Temps are quite cool but pleasant: 17°C/63°F now, 21°C/70°F later.

Gotta go get ready, I have an early appointment for a dressing change. Hopefully, this will be one of the last ones.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the French roast Obo.

It's 78°F and clear as the sun rises over the mountains east of Sin City. Sunny and a high of 101 are expected.

Travel yesterday went smoothly, and we're delighted to reconnect with our friends after 30 years or so.

We'll take it easy today.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Yesterday's hearing test proved what Womantriker has been telling me, I can't hear.

A few years ago Mrs. Fun had her hearing tested, thinking she wasn't hearing as well as she used to. The doctor's diagnosis was priceless: "There's nothing wrong with your hearing. You just need to pay more attention. "

I'd been telling her that for years but apparently she never heard me.

Good morning everyone ! Smoke is covering our area today and it is at 18C so far . Tomorrow is the Friday the 13th ride to a little coastal town Port Dover . It is like a small version of Sturgis ,not planning to attend but will see what the day brings . Those at Ohstoc enjoy and ride safely EH ! Thanks for the coffee and now off to do some chores that have been piling up .

G'Day...

11°/22°C, bright, blue skies, only a slight breeze...

got a bit swamped today, while folks do plan installing a heater into buildings by default, will they wait for the very first, tropical heatwave when it comes to a/c...
Doesn't matter if its immo tycoons, home owners, property management offices, or architects... and then they all want it NOW...

GF's NT700VA went through the annual tech inspection yesterday...
Technically all perfect...
But when the mech/inspector checked all indicators the "BRAAAAAAAAT-AT-at-at-at..." of the horns rang through that hangar like an organ echoing through a renaissance cathedral, startling everyone... :roflmao:

"... zis is a tad loud..." he moaned... squinting, tilting his head and curling his lips, mulling over denying the PASS over that... he didn't...
So the 2nd page of the test report is a blank page... no incorrectness found... fully roadworthy...

anyhoo... gotta rush... another project to plan out...

have a nice day, dive safe...

Ah well, better late than never. So, holiday beckons so haircut time, Chief of Staff definitely... me, well only had it done two weeks ago but if I leave it then my Shoei helmet makes me look like one of the Last of the Mohicans

So back home, into the conservatory with todays rain thumping down.... looked up to the roof..... hmmmm sure there shouldn't be a sliver of daylight at the edge of that roof pane! Long story short, yeah, one of the panes had slipped during recent heavy winds... no problem, just get the ladder out of the garage and push it back in place..... 4 hours later 'cos the bugger had slipped out of the seals eventually got it all back in place... ah well, stopped me getting bored

Morning all! Overcast today, currently 15C with a predicted high of 17C.

Working from home today. Basically fighting fires at work, there's been a sudden explosion of things that need doing, drafting or dealing with. Sure makes the day pass though and some of it is quite interesting, always fun to learn new stuff.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Howdy y'all from SoMD! Sorry I missed the coffee, Obo, but thanks for looking out for this bunch! Late checkin as I drove in to the office just for a frocking ceremony for our outgoing LT, nee LCDR, and his going away luncheon. Two hours in the car for a 10-minute ceremony, wait 40 minutes for pizza, eat for 10 minutes, then check e-mails for an hour before leaving. I did get to give him one of my 3D printed models of a new boat he is leaving to oversee construction, So he was very appreciative. Good guy dealing with all our unreasonable old-guy IT issues.

It was a bit warm when I left and it's rightly hot now, hitting 92F/33C at the house when I got back. More of the same work just at home instead. Rehearsal tonight (I erred and thought I was off until Saturday, drat!) maybe some painting in the garage as I continue working my magic on the Poulan. @Peppermint hope you're healing well, and hope everyone off traveling gets back home safe. Take care. y'all!
