G'Day...

14°/27°C, bright, sunny, a tad windy...
despite night/morning temps still in the lower double digits, might we exceed 30°C today... o_O
so in ze morning slightly under-dressed with mesh jacket and liner, but a sauna in the afternoon/evening...
And with tomorrow being a bank/holiday (Corpus Christi), thus a long weekend ahead, likely gridlocked traffic on the way home... we'll see...

office, moderately busy...

have a good one...

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start Martin.
Shortly we will say good bye to my family here & start our return trip.
We are stopping to visit my niece then touring the Gaspé area, as neither one of us have ever been there.
It’s a cool morning 55/73 F with a moderate W breeze long after we depart!
Enjoy hump day!

good morning all. thanks Martin. 77F on the dog walk with clear sky, stars and a 1/2 moon to view as we walked.
picked up new hearing aids yesterday and now my wife thinks I will hear her better.... sure I will. got gym this morning.
and I need to check over our old Subaru, believe the thermostat is stuck open. that might wait till the week end. to be done in the early morning when its cooler. the high should see 106F

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's a bit foggy and 63, rising to 75 for today's high.
We expect rain showers this morning, and then just clouds this afternoon.

I did the necessary work at my friend's restaurant, yesterday, and noticed the grass getting a bit long. I'll probably mow there tomorrow, when it's dryer.
I made it to the gym, later, for my upper body day.
My knee braces are coming apart, after a year's useage, so I called the VA for some replacements. They tell me that they'll take a few weeks because of tariffs and shipping issues. At least they're on-order.

Today, I'll head out to the gym to work on core and lower body stuff.
If the lawn dries up, I may mow it, as well.
The Golden Retriever across the fence hasn't been to the "Outback" in a while, so that's possible.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

71/85 and supposedly no rain til late afternoon. We’ve had showers every day for the last 12 days, and the lawn is looking terrible. Weeds have run rampant, and the grass is getting thin and spindly. Maybe it will dry enough for a cutting today. Yesterday’s attempt at mowing just produced clippings that resembled cooked spinach.

Similar here last ~couple weeks, but we caught a quick respite last thursday-friday and I got in a reasonably-dry mow Friday afternoon before the rain started again that evening. Otherwise I'd be looking at a couple acres of "oh no!"

Ahhh, coffee, the elixir of the gods. * Slurp *...that's better.

It's been hot and sticky for the last couple of days and it's going to be even hotter and stickier today: it's currently 22°C/72°F but feels like 26°C/79°F, and the high will be 29°C/84°F with a feels-like of 37°C/99°F. Thankfully, the technician came and fixed my AC unit yesterday, so I won't come to an ignoble end by melting into a giant pool of protoplasm. They say there's a risk of strong thunderstorms from around 2 p.m. to around 9 p.m. (but only a 40% chance, according to the forecast), and it will rain pretty much all day tomorrow.

@Whisker Bill: I hope you have good weather for your trip around the Gaspé. It's a beautiful place, but when the fog comes in off the estuary (which, alas, it does frequently), you can hardly see beyond the shoreline. So I hope it's clear enough that you can see Percé Rock. I was incredibly lucky when I rode the Gaspé counterclockwise when returning from New Brunswick on a bike trip several years ago: the weather was sunny, warm and crystal clear...so clear, in fact, that we could actually see Anticosti Island from the top of the peninsula. Enjoy your tour.

Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Thank you Martin! Another quick out-the-door day. But the herd was fed and I am safely caffeinated. It was a very soupy/foggy 79F/26C when I left for the office. Traffic has been improved since school let out for the summer, so I might start to ride in if the rain ever subsides. We're still well above this year's rainfall and this month continues it. *splish-splash*

Ride safe everyone, and take care y'all!

Good Morning. Thanks Martin for coffee. Air Park gate opened, breakfast made and eaten. 8 am give Precious her heart meds ( little one will be on them for the rest of her life). This afternoon might go for a ride,if weather cooperates. Tomorrow is another trip to Sisters house on Vancouver Island, should be last load of Mom's stuff ( I Pray). Note to Self ,get rid of as much stuff we don't use as possible , before kicking bucket. On the other hand, which off spring do I want to torment with that Job? Sort of pleased with my body recovering from Blood cancer, managed to bring in three china cabinets from the Van. Wife did a amazing job of loading Mom's stuff in them. Weather Mostly Cloudy 58 F High 67 F at 5 pm according to iPhone. 25% chance of a Shower at 10 am, clearing up to Partly Sunny this afternoon. Okay time to give Precious her meds , so Y'all have a good day G

Morning Martin & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

If you on the east side of things are tired of the wetstuff, you could always send some our way. We are well below normal in these parts of the country! :unsure-2x:

Currently, @ 10AM it is 79F, heading for 95F. And any winds today will make it feel like a blast furnace! :cautious: A slight breeze now, but later, the winds will be out of the WSW @ 10 to 15mph.

Yesterday, I got most of the tools put away, but the motorcycle garage is still a mess. I'll try to straighten that out after I mow and trim the lawns. And we are expecting my #3 son and family in the late afternoon.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) on the menu for later.

Anyone :bk13: ( @970mike ) on the roads, Have a great day! :hat3:

Morning (at least for another 52 minutes here) all! Overcast though it appears to be breaking up a bit and sun is promised for later. Currently 17C with a promised high of 18C.

Back in the office today so got to ride the ST in which put a grin on my face. The cool kids in the office invited me along for the coffee run today which was kind of them. Not sure when I transitioned to the boring old man role in the office but here I am. Well, the old part anyway, the boring has no doubt always been part of the equation. :D

Whiskers, have a great trip home and enjoy the Gaspe. I've flown over it and driven past it but never through it, much to my regret. Though my brother spent a summer working in the Gaspe so maybe that counts a bit? I have also seen pictures though.

Hope everyone is having a great day!
