Something about it in English:

Sorry, but as long as they get range, payload and "refueling times" into normal parameters, such will remain a niche product in the "urban scooter" section...

No apology necessary I'd say. That's pretty much what this was designed to be. There is always the issue of somebody taking a Honda Fit and complaining why it's crap at hauling 20 4'x8' sheets of drywall.

Since the E-VO wasn't designed to be sold outside of CN my guess is that there are a LOT of people IN CN that will find this acceptable transportation. Because that's a pretty big 'niche'. But we being much smarter than the designers (as we always are) assign arbitrary standards it wasn't intended for and cry FAIL.

At some point this company may decide to build a bike that reaches lofty goals demanded by others elsewhere. I think the model of start small and get big as you get better is a good one. If I recall correctly Soichiro Honda's first motorcycle wasn't 1800cc with a 300mi range maybe not even a 100mi range.

Maybe Wuyang's bike will fail or maybe it's absolutely fit for purpose. It should be judged in that context. Most every great technological achievement started small. Few if any sprang off an assembly line like Athena from Zeus' forehead full grown with her own armor. And even she had issues.

If ever there was a bike begging for saddlebags, this one is it. The rear of the bike looks like it was in an accident, and the owner cobbled away all the broken bits. Probably weight-savings related.

But for a daily commuter, if the price is right I could throw some soft bags on the black one and ride it. I like the belt drive too. The white is too ugly for my taste. But since I'm no longer a daily commuter I'm not in the market just yet anyway.

I’m not anti electric at all but to tour on it would take a range of 200 miles. I’m ready for a break about then, but keep in mind the break will be a little longer than a Gatorade and filling the fuel tank. I haven’t seen that kind of range on an electric motorcycle yet.

Very well put. It is not the only electric bike that Honda are working on, and they do have some credibility through the Mugen race bike that raced at IOM (and clocked a 121mph lap)

This was also released as a concept recently.

It all comes down to charging times and the availability of charging systems. Range is not a problem anymore but time to charge and availability of chargers is. If you solve those two issues for yourself and your circumstances, then an EV, be it moto or auto might be right for you.
