Thinking about putting a rack on my Top Box.
Anybody done this or know of a rack that will fit ?
Any info and or pictures would be great

Back in December Kim from CST said they had 17 TurboTom Topcase Racks, (I bought one for my '04, so they have 16?)
You can call him and see if he still has any left.
Here is the skinny:
$71.98 for the rack. $8.75 for shipping by USPS Priority Mail. Total of $80.73
Send payment via PayPal if you can to paypal@casporttouring.com Declare it as a gift.
If not, you can call me at 510-741-3700 and I can take a credit card over the phone.
You can also mail a check if you want. Just let me know.
No tax, as I am considering it a private transaction.
Thanks,
Kim
Just finished installing Turbo Tom Top Box Rack.
Thanks for the info Supra.
Cal Sport Touring has one less Top Box Rack.
... Plus, it's a place to put things if you're neurotic like me about putting objects on painted surfaces. Hell, I get mad when people even lean on my car or rub their grimy hands on my bike. :-(
I also just completed Turbo Tom top box rack install. Installed mine 180 degrees from Pyropat. Was not happy with included hardware. Spent fair amount of time tracking down larger diameter rubber washers. Went with 1 1/4" OD (3/16" ID) rubber finder washers and same size steel washers. Hope this will distribute stress over larger area and help prevent cracking. Not crazy about the the look of the larger washers but even less crazy about the thought of cracking overpriced honda top box. Install was a snap. May not be perfictly centered - no hard lines to measure from. Just eyeballed it. Stood on a step ladder to get a top view. Seemed to help with placement. Just snugged up the screws and added a small bead of loctite to each. Should be handy. Just need to take care and not overload.
I still need to pick up another rubber washer for the '04!

One way of getting a more exact placement would be to run strips of masking tape edge to edge, then measuring and marking on it before drilling. I should have done that when installing my ACL Turn Signal Reminder Thingy. Now I'll have to install another LED slightly off-center in the opposite direction to make it look like it was all part of a master plan, LOL.
Masking tape and measuring are part of the install process!
Doesn't seem like it was part of llbaker2's process as he "eyeballed" from a ladder. Not having a top box or installed one, I'd think masking tape and measuring would get it pretty d*mn close, closer thatn "eyeballing" it.
