I repurposed my old cruiser into a Tupperware rack for my ST.
My carb rebuild kit arrived, so I started working on the project. I separated all 4 carbs and removed bits and bobbles. I inspected the vacuum diaphragms and all 4 are cracked 
. I did a quick google hund and 
they're expensive. Anyone got a good lead on cheaper than $160 each!!

I left my ST1100 in the garage so I could drive 6 hours to Mission, TX to sit on a couch and listen to my wife and her family play Mexican bingo. I'm livin' the dream.
It could be worse, lol

I rode to my home town. Hung out with my sister, who rode in on her own bike. We had fries under the bridge and then a toast to our mother who would have been 85 today.

Was up at Alice’s and this guy parked next to me. Damn did it draw a crowd!! 410ci home built car. The guy has spent 20+ years on it and it was a thing of beauty for sure. …Then I had a spirited ride later in the day!!

i sat around waiting for a phone call until 11:00. i got the Mighty ST 1300 out of the backyard and headed to Bikes on the Bricks in Flint, MI. when i got there i saw the person that was suppose to call me, he forgot ! i also went over and spoke to the Motor City Peace Keepers before joining back up with my group of friends. here are a few pic's from the event

On Sunday 9/8/24, I went for a 150 mile ride through almost north Georgia. ATL out to Dawsonville (via 400, bo-ring), then out Highway 53 toward Rome - not quite to the famous Highway 52 route to Chatsworth - will do that another weekend soon. Back to ATL through Canton & the northern horse-country 'burbs of Milton & Roswell. A lovely 63 degrees upon departure, light clouds & mostly sunny. 77 upon return. Perfect day for riding. Longest ride for me to-date since I bought her back in July.

I noticed that while I had removed the reflective tape from my saddlebags, put there by the previous owner, it had left some sticky goo in place until later. I got after today with a clean rag and some WD40. After some careful work both bags came clean. They are still scratched but you can't disguise imperfections with tape and cheap stickers. It's better to have scratches as badges of honor. I followed up with some buffing compound and now they are clean and shiny. I also cleaned the key hole for the ignition and the fuel cap. Both were just dirty and needed a bit of scrubbing with a plastic scraper.
