Howdy there,
I'm giving away my ST1100. The carbs gummed up because I don't ride it, so I started taking it apart to do a bunch of maintenance, but then realized that if I actually put it together again that I still wouldn't ride it. I did love this bike but it doesn't fit my lifestyle anymore and I figure somebody else can get better use out of it, even as a pile of parts. I gave away a similarly-neglected Honda Magna a few months ago and haven't regretted it yet so I guess it's time to finish the job!
I know these bikes aren't worth much even when they are in running shape so I'm giving it away to anybody who will come pick it up in Austin TX 78723. I have the title in hand. Obviously you'll need a trailer!
1995 Honda ST1100. Around 50k miles (guess I could have checked that closer when I was taking pictures lol...) No ABS. Still has the 22A alternator which was working fine when parked. The only thing wrong with it was the carbs had gummed up, like I said, but I was going to take the opportunity to do the timing belt and replace the valve cover gaskets as well. I'd describe the body work as "intact", it has some stickers on it that were to cover up various nicks and scratches to the paint. I had a drop a few years back that cracked one of the turn signal housings, I fixed it with Gorilla Tape and then never found a reasonably priced replacement. It should all be there except for the air injection system that I took off, I'm not sure if I saved those parts but I could look around on the off-chance that's important to you.
Notable extras include a Progressive 465 shock, Heli Bars, Corbin saddle, and Sonic Springs in the fork. I also bought an All Balls kit for the carbs and have some various other oil filter/gaskets etc.
I don't care what you do with it! Use it for parts, put it back together, that's your business, but you gotta haul it off! Price is Free99, though if you are feeling really grateful you could bring me a case of High Life or something. I can try to answer any questions you might have but keep in mind the price will not go down...
