If a person wanted to explore the Driftless Area for a couple of days what is a good city to homebase from? Guessing most of the good stuff is in Wisconsin?

Springreen is pretty good. Great access to WI80, WI130 and many more roads/ miles of great driving/exploring.

Interesting read on Wikipedia about the Driftless area, I can see Mophead having a great time exploring the area. G

There are some great roads in the Driftless area. Better than one would think.

LocSTOC or WisSTOC (September) . Kevin Elliott knows the area and can lead the group on many, many twisty roads. If you go by yourself, just pick an alphabet road and go!
