Two years in the planing has come to an end, the rubber hits the dirt June 6th.
Special thanks to Razerman who helped me build this Suzuki 650 VStrom, to handle the rigours of the Dempster Highway. The bike is packed, routes that were plotted now are abandoned as I now will be dealing with road closures, wild fires and smoke.
The plan is to be in Tuktoyaktuk for the solstice June 20th. Then heading to the furthest West Point of Canada via the top of the world highway in the Yukon. We then head south to Vancouver Island.
Trekking along the Canadian/US border east to Ontario, working our way into Quebec. Taking a route north of the St. Lawrence to Bai Como to follow the Labrador TransCanada hwy. Taking the ferry to Newfoundland touching the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Spear.
Back to the Mainland to do a round of the Cabot trail, do a Stint on Prince Edward Island, then heading for home and a little more south to the furthest southern point of Canada, Point Pelee.
This is a 23,000 km adventure, and an adventure it will be!
The bike is packed and just itching to go

Safe travels!! Epic ride. The Vstrom is a near perfect bike for it.
If you get to Calgary, give me a call. Maybe get together for a bit.
Also, I did the Dempster/Tuk last year. Let me know if I can help some way.
