1300RT Reveal 4/29

At least it doesn't have a beak. It is too angular but that's been a trend for a lot of manufacturers for awhile now. I also like the variable 'slipstream' deflector. I don't know how useful it will be. I've never felt the need for any on my ST.

And we have more high intensity LED headlamps that blind everyone else.
I'm not sure about that. Having bespoke LED headlights and headlight assemblies instead of add-ons from various manufacturers would seem to me to mean more compliance with federal laws. How a rider manages from there might be problematic.

I'd hope the bulbs are replaceable without needing a whole assembly like some car headlights/taillights.

Most anything that has a good LED headlight is a full assembly, car/truck/motorcycle... and will likely outlast anyone here... If there's a fault, which happens rarely, it's usually replaced via warranty. I like the LED headlights I have on the RT/GSA.. the ones on the Tracer were meh.. but it was only one of them as low beam and one as high so could have been a better application.

As more pics emerge, it is more apparent that the bike may not be as "blah" as it seems and I think one has to be seen in person as it may not be as bad as it seems. Different colors and shades hide or accentuate the lines. Still not impressed with the "gills" on the front fairings or the front fender... LOL.
These pics dont look too bad...

I really like the blue colour

As Mellow mentioned above, the R1300 GSA looks better in person. I really like the look of the GSA, but the seat and the cost are both too high for me. I suspect that the new R1300 RT will also look better in person. The rental shop in Switzerland that I use for my tours expects to have them on the floor and in the rental fleet when I there in late May - should be interesting to see in the flesh.
