This is my second attempt:

I’ve come to the realization that my Goldwing is simply too much bike for me these days. As much as I love it, I need something smaller and easier to handle.

I'm looking to trade my Honda Goldwing for a Honda ST1300 (with cash to make up the difference). If you have an ST1300 in good condition and are looking to upgrade to a Goldwing, let's talk!

Serious inquiries only. Feel free to reach out with details about your ST1300, and let’s see if we can make a deal that works for both of us.

Nice bike. Have you ridden an ST. You might find the bike more of an handful than you think. The V4 makes it quite top heavy whereas the Wing, not so much. I'm with you though, the Wing is more bike than I want. If you can get used to the top heaviness of the ST, you will not be disappointed with the bike.

I rode 10 Miles on a friend's 1995 Goldwing GL 1500, including making a very tight uphill turn out of his driveway and driving through several small streets in his neighborhood before I got to bigger roads .
Ended that ride turning into a very crowded gas station and maneuvering it up to a pump.

Then a few weeks later I rode the ST 1300 that I eventually bought.

I considered the St-1300 like a 9/10 scale version of the Gdwing, when riding it slowly like a cruiser, and only going fast in a straight line, but not trying to swoop through the curves. I did not perceive any really big difference.

TheRealShake;

I just noticed that you are in the Atlanta area ---so am I, I am up in the Cumming/Gainesville area.

So if you want to meet up and ride together and trade bikes for a dozen miles or 100 miles, let me know.
You can get some time on my 2007 ST 1300 just to see what that bike feels like,
if you hadn't ridden one before .
