Whatever I say or do before my first coffee,
has no legal validity in any form... :coffee:

G'Day...

Nespresso and Nescafé double charged... <slurp> :coffee:

Big update in the break room: a Britta water-filter... makes even the Nescafé taste a lot better...

17°/28°C & sunny today, 97% RH though, when leaving the house massive fog in my residential area, condensing on windscreen and visor, cooling me through my mesh-vest...

Almost had a bird-strike on the exit ramp towards the industrial area, little peregrine falcon attempted to dive upon a rodent in the green aside the tarmac, almost slammed my helmet...
Well, almost is relative, as they're way more agile as me on that ST... still ducked a little behind my Secdem screen... ;)

Office, already emailed like a dozen offers... we'll have to see what sticks...

Celebrate your week divider!

Thx Martin!
A little ducking is never wrong, just ask @Upt' North .

13˚c/55f, abit of everything, sun, showers, wind.

Been picking up some oak furniture, a dresser of some kind, for Mrs Stu, a one hour drive.
Need some help to carry it upstairs….it weighs 66kgs….pfffft!
Please line up in an orderly fashion.

Lawn mowing.
A birthday «party» for a bil later, he’s a bit of a bore, and that’s me being polite.

Have a good one!
Stu

From our beachwalk Sunday…

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Martin. 75F on the dog walk with a bunch of clouds to cover up the sky. I did see one open spot with a few stars and that was it. but still an enjoyable walk. have gym today and nothing on the to do list after that. the high should see 91F. enjoy the day.

stay safe

Good morning, all. Thanks for the start, Martin.

65/86 and partly cloudy for today. Looking like rain coming in for the weekend.

Yesterday I mowed, trimmed, and pressure washed the driveway and patio furniture. Today is more grocery shopping and house cleaning, getting ready for the RTE on Saturday. I’ll rest Monday, after it’s over.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's sunny and 54 in MA this morning, with some haze from the Canadian wildfires visible. The sky is kind of pinkish
It'll continue to be sunny as the temperature rises to 84.

Yesterday's lawn mowing effort went well, but I omitted the gym
I went to our First Tuesday event, where there were 6 of us to try to solve the world's problems.
I got home around 7:00pm, checked for when sunset would occur, and took myself and the neighbor's dog for a walk. We did a little over 3 miles, with a quick detour through the "Outback".

Today, I'll try for another walk, before it gets too hot, and a gym visit.
I've got the back porch flashing back in place, and need to nail it so it stays. That may happen, as well.
Finally, we haven't made it to the range this week...

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning! I've just put a fresh pot of Kicking Horse "Kick Ass" on if anyone needs a refill.

Lots of orange-ish haze here as well from the wildfires out West. I sure feel for all the people who've been evacuated to places worlds away from their own communities, and who have lost everything. And this is just the beginning of wildfire season...it's going to be a rough one. And speaking of rough ones, it's also going to be hot as Hades here today. The temp currently sits at 20°C/68°F, but by later this afternoon, it will be 32°C/90°F with a feels-like of 37°C/99°F. Eesh. I reset the breakers (again) yesterday and managed to get the fan for the wall-mounted AC unit working, so I'll see if the "dry" setting manages to make any difference to the humidity today.

Have a good one, stay safe, stay cool, go safely.

Patty

Howdy y'all! Well today's the lunchtime jazz concert, so my mind will not be focused on work but I'll try. Early login to get some hours in, then wait...for the wife to get ready since she is coming to watch/listen. Always the stressor. So, thanks for the java, Martin.

A very nice but cloudy 66F/20C. Not much else planned except for rehearsal tonight. Finally got the lil' Aircap mower fixed and running right, and someone acutally wants it. Good little machine, wish I could keep it but I need to clear out and make space. Tomorrow's looking a reasonable day to ride in to the office, and maybe add another stop to the MD A-to-Z...we'll see. Until next time, take care y'all!

Good morning all

Thanks for the coffee, Martin, and to Patty for the reload.

It's sunny and 82°F in Rockville. We'll have a high near 90, if not past it, but it's not (yet) oppressively humid so it isn't terribly uncomfortable. Still, it'll be a day to close the windows and let the A/C do its thing.

Had an early round of goof, already completed, and we'll go out for dinner tonight with the neighbors. No idea what'll happen in between but ukuleles may be involved somewhere along the line.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.
