Some users here on the st-owners.com forum have the ability to use emoji characters... I don't have that ability and how do I get it?

Click the smiley face icon at the top of the text box when you're typing out a message.

Thanks, I just hadn't used the editing tools and the smiley face wasn't there 
now see if it stays in the message? Thanks for the update, and sorry for the hijacking
