Moderate handlebar risers like these that both lift and move back look very strong and solid. Anyone who has these or has changed the handlebar itself to a moderate type similar to these handlebar risers …

I have them on my 1100. IMHO anything more then that you will need longer throttle cables, brake and clutch lines.
 
Depending on how much rise you need, you could do the 'flip-clip' method.


Some folks used BMW handlebars but I don't remember from which model.
 
I think it was from a something 75 (K???). I'm not familiar with BMW labeling. Being German, I'm sure there is a method to their madness.
