Highest Mileage ST1100

Who has/had the highest mileage ST here? What I was looking for was no engine overhaul or transmission work..just the normal things like brakes, wheel bearings, etc. I had a look on the search and found an archived topic about the highest mileage topic that was back to 2009.
 
There's a guy in the UK who isn't on any of the forums, his ST1100 cambelt went at something like 265,000 miles..... I'm sure it wasn't the original but I know he had the heads overhauled and it is still running to the best of my knowledge.
 
At this point, I believe Alex Schmitt has the highest mileage. During a rally, he stopped by my house for repairs. I took a picture of his instrument cluster in total awe..... This was taken in early April of this year. I could only imagine what it reads now... Thane's odometer is in kilometers.

There is a UK rider in Scotland who rides, or did as I haven't seen him for a couple of years, an ST1100 which had a head rework at around 250,000 miles when the rubber band broke... as far as I know he is still riding it...

Seen a couple of French STs with numbers like 400.000 and 500.000km (250K ~ 312Kmiles) on their odometers... so the 230Kmiles on Thane's are within average ;-)

A well nursed, well serviced ST seems to last quite long...
 
I went to a S.W. Mich . ST rally a couple years ago and there was a ST with 340K miles . I don't remember his name though but the distance sure impressed me.

I would guess Alex Schmitt, rally rider from NY state if I'm not mistaken. Was it black?
 
I now have 374,820 miles on my 98 ST1100. I am in Kansas right now headed for the IBA national meet. I will take a picture when it turns 375,000 tomorrow!
 
There is a rider in London Ontario, I think his first name is Thane, he had 500,000 km on his ST1100 a while back. I saw his bike a few years back at an independent shop where I buy my tires. It was as if it had been sand blasted around the mirrors and leading edge of the fairings. I don't know if he still rides that bike or not. If I remember right he set the record for crossing Canada on a motorcycle and participated in several Iron Butt events.

It impressed me so much , especially because it was just after I had gotten rid of my new '08 BMW RT that was going bad , engine-wise , in less than 6K miles !
