how do you remove scuff marks?

YEGRIDER

Any ideas on how to remove scuff marks from a Sargent seat (photo attached)? Thanks!

Did you try some good quality leather conditioner already? Works well on vinyl and leather. Makes the seat a little slick but ok.

The Sargent is vinyl, right? Looks like you've put small gouges in the material, so no amount of cleaning will fix it. You could try rubbing with an SOS pad (wet) or green pot scrubber (wet), but remember you're basically "sanding" it down so all the fabric looks the same. You've gotta find a way to stop the scuffing........ perhaps standing on your footpegs to get on and off (yeah, I know it ain't man-like.....).

Peter,
Don;t feel bad. I've got the same issue with my rear Sargent seat. I gave a ride to someone and they put a scuff across the back when they got off..:(

I'll be interested in the comments on this as well..
