Numb hand?

Thanks, Bikeric. I had a Crampbuster, but over time it got loose as if it had stretched somehow, and just started rotating around the grip over the course of a few minutes and would not stay in the same place. I wonder if Grip Puppies would help? I have been wanting to try those anyway.

Perhaps installing the Crampbuster over the Grip Puppies would help keep the Crampbuster in place....
I swear by the Grip Puppies, first thing I put on my 2006 St1300. Best investment I made. On my second pair now. I'm turning 70 in 2 months, My throttle hand and my left hand loves the Puppies.

I have Grip Puppies coming on Wednesday, and once I get those on I will try the Cramp Buster once again, with some inner tube under it.
I've had no problem with a Cramp Buster moving on its own before getting my Grab-On grip covers. The CB fit over the covers fine and they did increase the resistance when moving it up out of the way which I never do. It's always in the "On" position.

A grip cover and inner tube seem like over kill even for the skinny-a stock grips. Have you measured the inside diameter of the CB? Is it possible you
have the version meant for larger 1" bars like H-Ds etc?

I tried to buy locally at Road Riders in San Jose and they only had the "non-Metric" size. The Parts Guy didn't know there was a difference. Fortunately I did an ordered from Dennis Kirk IIRC.

edit:

Ok I reread your OP and see the CB did work and loosened up over time. The grip cover and inner tube might work but I'd just pop for a new CB. If it loosened up before it may do it again. It would be inconvenient to have it break especially if you're on a long ride or trip.

+1 on the Grip Puppies. I use a throttle rocker and it works without issue over the Grip Puppies.
