I just got a pair of these boots and I love them!

They fit like they were made for my feet, they are tough and they are fully lined with gore-tex so they are 100% waterproof.

I don't know if gore-tex breaths well in 100+ degree weather so if it doesn't I'll see if they make a summer type boot.

Turned in a pair of Motophoria leaker boots for some Oxtar Matrix boots and gotta say the same as you... they fit like the were custom made for me. Also liked the tester who put them in six inches of water overnight and found them dry inside in the morning.

I just recently got a pair for my birthday. They were confortable from the first time that I put them on. I did find the sole a little slick until I got them scuffed a little. They are very well made. I love them.

Have had mine for 2 years. Purchased on recommendation of Paul from NewEnough.com. Ditto the compliments. Comfortable, waterproof, and great protection for ankles and shins. -- Ernie

P.S. - NewEnough provides excellent product review and will work with you to meet your specific objectives.

Like slippers

I've had mine for about two years also and really like the comfort. I did need to exchange my 44's (my usual size) for a a pair of 45's. The comfort is still there even in Florida's summer heat and my feet have remained dry even through a few summer downpours (pants OVER boot tops). They provide a resonable measure of protection, but street hooligans should opt for more.

43's here.... LOL

Paul, do you do Children Birthday parties.... get it... big shoes.... red nose... get it.... LOL

Put me down on your list.... :D

I also have a pair and if they wear out I'll just buy another pair. They are great. Ditto what Ernie said about New Enough. They are local to me and very nice people. The must get a lot of local business from Goldwing riders though.....there is a new DQ going in just down the highway from them. LOL!

I'm pretty sure they have a showroom. I remeber a guy on the Concours board saying he made a road trip there so he could try things on before buying.

It's not actually a show room, but they will let you try on stuff. Patient as can be too. The DQ should be finsihed by now. Shallowater is getting to be big city!

I just ordered a pair of these boots myself. What is the temperature range that these work in?

Thanks Leo I appreciate it. These will cover my temp ranges then. It appears they were a good choice by what I read in here and other reviews.

Double up on the socks for colder days... ;)

Good Biker Boots

Mellow.

Could not see the link to the picture of the boots for some reason, not to worry, I have read the postings on the replies.

As far as I can see, I cant find them available here in the UK. BUT, if anyone here in the UK wants a really good pair of boots that are reliable and very waterproof have a look at:

http://www.altberg.co.uk/

Altberg supply the UK Police Forces and the Driving Standard Agency with boots. They are a small familly concern that do not push their product enough.

I have used them for years now, and I can vouch that the recent ones really are excellent. They are warm, waterproof and if you wear the soles, you just take them or send them back to be repaired.

Just thought I would add a little for us UK St'ers over here in the UK.

I've had these for two seasons and ditto the comments above - fit like slippers (size 41 ~= 8-1/2 US). I put some better liners in for more arch support and can't say enough about them.

I've worn them from low 20s to over 100 and they really perform. Waterproof, easy to walk in and very rugged. I've started to notice some wear on the left heel because that's the foot I rotate to get on the bike, but it's normal

I also bought the Oxtar Infinity boots from newenough.com figuring that boots from the same manufacturer would use the same sizing and it's true - boots fit like they were custom made for me - although the Infinitys are much more the combat touring style boot, I still love them. Think they will be much warmer in hot weather riding. I'll carry both on a loong ride.

Clean'em with a boot scraper from REI, use the suede brush on the Gore-Tex and they're as good as new again.

In colder weather I use a wool sock and a poly liner - good to low 20s.

YMMV.
