Ran out of gas??

30 mpg ? Don't know how you run your ST , but you might want try keeping RPM's up a little higher (lower gear). Found out that on trip, where I had to keep up with a buddy ,who kept the pace up. I got much better milege

I think my best has been about 33 mpg for one tank of gas. It improved slightly after (over?) inflating the tires (42/42). I never lug the motor and rarely over rev. 90+mph (indicated) is not uncommon, but typically 80 ish on the freeway (5th gear) and 50-55ish (3rd/4th gear mostly) on local roads. Acceleration is "moderate" I suppose. My other rides are generally a lot lighter and a lot more powerful than the ST and while I don't try to compete with the same sensations, I imagine I might ride a little faster than average, especially around turns, of which there are not many along my commute. I will pay more attention to what gear I'm in and try your suggestion as well. Thank you.

Really do appreciate the input and suggestions! I will try to look at what seems to be the possible "usual suspects" this holiday weekend per the above advice. I have no idea what the PO may or may not have maintained outside of fluid changes. My initial thoughts were that something isn't properly sorted, but other than some small electrical issues, the bike has been running well and has performed beyond original expectations. Normally, I would have gone through the entire bike and addressed any areas of concern. But I have 4 other bikes that take a higher priority right now, so unfortunately a deeper dive into this matter may have to wait until the next maintenance schedule. I will keep everyone updated and sincerely thank all for the support!

I'm sorry , I mixed km and miles in my math. That gave real bad milage. Still on the high side . Mine is thirsty too .
