Good morning everyone

There's Black Rifle Just Black coffee in the pot for you today. Enjoy it, and thank a veteran if you encounter one. @motomac and @Sadlsor I know you each fall into that category; thanks for raising your hand, each of you. To the others I've not mentioned, thank you as well.

It's 67°F in Rockville, with a solid overcast and chance of light rain for the next couple hours. We had a brief, heavy downpour early yesterday evening, but it came well after I had completed the day's round of goof. Sadly the friends I was planning to play with canceled because of an expected heavy rain predicted for the middle of our round; it never materialized.

I'll head to Baltimore today for the baseball game between the Orioles and the Nationals, joining those same friends plus two others. By the time I return, I believe Mrs. Fun's sister will have headed for their other sister's place in Lansdale PA; our niece left yesterday to return to Tallahassee, so the house will be back to the usual level of occupancy by the time I return home this evening.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Keith. 66F on the dog walk with a lot of clouds to hide the stars and moon. but as always an enjoyable walk all the same.
looks like a trip to the dog park this morning so our old dog can hone her begging skills. as all the other dogs are running and playing ours is going from one person to another begging. I must say she has it down to an art. don't know what the afternoon will bring but high temp should be 87F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good Morning, 4 am dark outside and cold, raining as well phone says 10 C add 4 for the high. Thanks Keith for coffee and Veterans for your Service. Many of my friends from Air Cadets went into the Canadian forces, which makes me wonder how they are doing and where they are.
To early to worry about the agenda for today, probably try for a nap this morning. Will check in later G

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.

It's a foggy 60 degrees here in MA, rising to 77 later. For all of the gloom and doom that the weather people predict, the Weather Underground says that we'll develop into a partly cloudy day.

Filter day at the friend's restaurant went well. I guess I'm getting the knack of it.
I omitted the gym, electing to take a walk in the Outback with our neighbor's doggy. 4.8 miles later, we were both pleasantly tired. While we were walking, my sister called from PA, and we had a nice chat.
Brenda cooked up some pork chops and foil potatoes on the grill, for an excellent dinner.
I was bringing something out to the shed, afterward, when I noticed a huge colony of ants along the walk. That led to a couple of trips to Home Depot for insecticide and ant traps, which was applied before dusk.

I have no real plans for today.
I was going to install the netting on the gazebo, yesterday, but the predicted rain and wind quashed that plan. I'll try again, today.
I also need to call the vet about Freya. She's been slowing down, and occasionally unsteady while she walking, so we'll try for a visit sooner rather than later.
Tonight, Brenda will attend a bowling banquet, so I'll be on my own for dinner.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Keith.

Thankfully, it's a bit cooler here than is had been for the past few days: the current 16°C/61°F will climb no higher than 23°C/73°F, albeit with a feels-like of 27°C/81°F. It's going to be a soggy, stormy day, though. We're under a severe thunderstorm watch for most of the day, and the rain, which will start falling in a couple of hours, will keep coming down until tomorrow morning.

Have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Keith!
We had some rain overnight & a great light show! (I’m told) I slept very well through the whole episode!
I’m coasting, waiting on our weekend coffee gang to appear. I’m thinking the hockey game kept them up late…
53/57 F with more rain & a SW breeze to keep the perspiration to a minimum!
Enjoy your weekend!

Howdy y'all! A super bright day in SoMD after some early morning showers, 71F/22C.

A breakfast of coffee (thanks Keith!) eggs, toast, and sweet black pepper bacon to start the day. Rehearsal in a bit, then I dunno. With the brunt of the rain/storms over with, I can finally throw some grass seed down and it'll stay but we'll see. Take care y'all!
