Maybe "better" is subjective, but the helmet's camera offers a 180 degree field of view behind you. It's intended to eliminate blind spots. I don't know how effective that is, but I like the idea. Given that the rear view is projected in front of you (to one side) you don't need to take your eyes off the road in your direction of travel, as you would if you swiveled your head, or moved your head to look at your mirrors.
I also like that the GPS can be projected onto the heads up display. We wouldn't need to lower our eyes to look at the GPS.
All of that may be a small incremental improvement to our riding experience and safety. Maybe not. At the right price, I'd be quite interested. I don't think I'm $3K interested, but I'd be tempted at $1K if the helmet protection itself is excellent.
