Good morning all.

French roast is in the pot, along with some more Timbits. They seemed to be a hit last time.

Wet here this morning, just before morning's twilight. Temps are only at 7C, headed to 8C. We've had to turn the heat back on a few days ago due to the recent cold temps (down to 2c outside) and all the rainy dampness. The wet has certainly helped with all the greenery outside, but I fear the lawn's inability to be mowed due to rain will mean I'll need a tractor instead to cut the hay.

Not sure what they day holds, but as we're continuing the kitchen part of the reno, it will involve the dreaded "money." The recent snags have added new counter tops into the plan, which has also added a new sink & taps, which will likely mean a plumbing rework and removal of the existing tile back splashes....

Scope creep. It's real.

Enjoy your day, and avoid renos unless you're feeling foolish.

Obo.

Due unfortunate circumstances I'm awake...
Coffee isn't just a drink, its a survival strategy...

G'Day...

12°/19°C, still blue skies with glaring sun, rain forecast for late afternoon/evening...

means of coffee, soft boiled eggs, self made bread, etc...

night was weird, some festival on the Island, so music echoing over the water body... pfffff...
just at the instant you'd finally fall asleep, some idiots with loud pipes pull a street race... pfffff...
and at the b_crack of dawn the crows started circling, welcoming the new day with their BAH-BAH!!!... pfffff...

some garden choirs, GF already out relaxing with pulling weeds...
I reprogrammed the irrigation thing, GF had given it a conflict with the mowing schedule, soaking the poor robot in the process... ;)
(it has a rain sensor, thus instantly seeks cover... with its tires already already muddied up though...)
Also replaced the 4x AAA backup-batteries in there...

Fertilizing the lawn later to let the rain wash it in...

have a good Sunday!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee and Timbits, @Obo. Hope you get the reno done with minimal unexpected cost.

It's partly cloudy and 50°F in Rockville. Later it may be mostly sunny with a high around 71. Good day for an outdoor activity.

Mrs. Fun will head to Arlington National Cemetery this morning for an annual laying of remembrance tokens on the graves of Japanese Americans interred there.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks for putting the coffee on, Obo! Cold and wet weather continues here as well today. However, a positive shift will occur tomorrow - warm and dry! Obo, I do hope your current kitchen renos will leave enough jingle in the jar to get you that trailer your Wing wants. And, it'll be fun when you include a tour of your new kitchen on the ride you'll lead during WoodSToc in August!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, @Obo.
I feel your pain, vis-a-vis your kitchen reno, but I'm sure that you and your Mrs. will enjoy the results.

It's 52 and partly cloudy in MA this morning, going to 62 later. It will be mostly cloudy, but the forcast doesn't include rain, which is a welcome change from the past few days.

I'm off to the last of three Porsche days, which begins at noon. One of the other workers was commenting on how disgustinly slow they are. Meh. They're not racing, and for most, they're going as fast as they can.

Brenda has been texting with our son, Joe, about meeting our new grandson. We'll stop by tomorrow, after our D-I-L is home from the hospital, and Brenda will bring dinner.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good Morning, thanks Obo for coffee, Dave for the history selfie. Clear Skies at the moment, cloudy later today and getting wet tomorrow sometime. Presently 50 F high of 65 F. Woke up at 4:30 , made Coffee and boiled eggs and bowl of Cheerios. Don't have pancake batter so wife will have something else for breakfast when she gets out of bed. Today's agenda hopefully,9 am church service and after lunch need to do Oil change and Sparkplugs on Mazda. 169,000 kilometers on the car ,possibly original plugs. Picked up oil and plugs yesterday so might have time for a ride after car work. Okay not much more to discuss, so Y'all have a good Sunday,G

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start & the Tim bits @Obo!

A sunny start to our day, 46/53 F a WNW breeze that will drag in a shower or 2 later!

We were notified by our neighbour that 4 young guys were casing the neighbourhood early this morning, apparently driving a small red Honda!
Probably looking for a party…

Morning Obo & All from mostly sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 63F, up from 42F and heading for 79F. Yesterday we had rain a few miles, to the East and a few miles to the West, but we didn't see any of it. Probably more of the same today. The With a slight breeze now, but later the winds will be out of the WNW @ 9 to 14 mph.

Yesterday was a day to gather tools and riding gear, in preparation of our Montana trip on Tuesday. I also swapped out the wiper blades on the Tacoma, so hopefully if we see rain, I can still see the road!

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) after we get back from church.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads1 :hat3:

Thanks for the Joe, Obo! Another cool morning here in SoMD but getting up to the 70s later (23C-ish).

Time to mow the lawn again thanks to all the rain. Maybe I'll pull out the ol Aircap again, the little mower that could. I'll do it after the race and before going to join some old friends for volleyball.

Wife enjoyed her special day yesterday and it didn't break my bank either... Win-win.

Can't think of anything else so I'll just say take care y'all!

Good afternoon, Made Church on time, got to See Son who was working in the projector booth,me proud of the guy. Made pancakes for lunch and then got oil changed and Sparkplugs replaced in the Mazda. Took me a while to figure out how to get the Air filter housing out to get at the plugs. Car runs noticablely smoother. Three of the plugs looked like they were leaking past metal piece and the ceramic bits, that and they were Ford plugs , first time ever saw Ford plugs. Soon will be dinner time. See Y'all tomorrow morning. G
