Good morning everyone

It's Thursday, meaning it's nearly Friday, so let's have some of the French roast I've made to celebrate the near-conclusion of another week.

In Rockville, current conditions are 68°F and partly cloudy. Expected later today: partly sunny skies (so, maybe slightly more clouds?) and a high in the upper 80s. How strange that we're suddenly in summer after starting the week in the middle 40s.

A trip to my cardiologist for a routine visit is the only thing on the calendar for today, but I've got a couple errands to do so I will combine the trips.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thanks Keith for the FR. 73F on the dog walk with a clear sky filled with stars. at 0145 the moon was on its way down behind the western horizon. I start my walks headed east and when I turned west the moon was all ready gone. oh well there was still a great sky to view, even on the second walk with dog #2.
got two appointments this morning then my day is free to enjoy. the high should see 96F. enjoy the day

stay safe

I'm already looking forward to tomorrow's coffee... :coffee:

G'Day...

16°/27°C, haze, but another humid, f_hot day... w/e forecast says rain of course... what else...

Another encounter of the 3rd kind this morning though:
idling at a red light, enjoying my tunes (SENA intercom and BT interface) as a Jaguar e-pace pulls aside... and ZACK my BT connection was gone...
at green I turned right and once gained a distance of over 100 yards my SENA reconnected with the interface...
Those EV's have some massive EM radiations... are they at least getting taxed for all that electro-smog their emitting??

office, almost noon, calm after the morning (workload) storm...
Afternoons are mostly easy flowing... intend to clean my Neotec II then... ;)

No plans of getting myself hooked onto a doctor's SUN-tester this week ;)

but the O-rings for the '94 ST's water-pipes arrived yesterday, and since ze GF has her grand-kid over on ze w/e, am I looking forward to some quiet hours in the shed...

enjoy the day!

Thx Keith, best of luck with the checkup!

12˚c/54f, wind and rain.

Installed the new dresser upstair this morning, and demolished the old one.
Incredibly heavy furniture!

Mrs Stu has a day off, so I’m just awaiting orders.

Have a good almost Friday!
Stu

Good morning, all. Thanks, Keith.

68/84 and partly cloudy, with chance of thunder, early evening. I’m headed out to pick up the meat for the smoker. A couple of pork butts will on by noon, with brisket going on tomorrow. Burgers could hit the grill, at any time between now and Sunday.

It’s looking like stormy weather for the weekend, but the RTE will go on as planned. Monday starts ETLO. (Eat the left-overs)

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.
Good luck on the cardiologist visit.

It's sunny and 64 in MA this morning, on the way to 90 with a mix of sun and clouds.

I did get out for a dog walk, yesterday, missing the 84 degree high temp by about 5 degrees. The pup got to swim in one of the ponds we passed, so SHE got a chance to cool off.
Afterward, Brenda and I went to the range for some pew-pew time, then dinner.

Today, I'd like to get out for another dog walk, before this evening's activities.
Brenda and I will attend her former company's outing, which is the local Red Sox AAA team.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Keith! Hope the doc's happy with what he sees.

Today will be cooler than yesterday, but there's still lots of humidity. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds, but under the ever-present pall of haze from wildfire smoke. The day's temperatures will range from the current 21°C/70°F (feels like 26°C/79°F) to 25°C/77°F (with a feels-like of 31°C/88°F). The smoke is making things uncomfortable; my eyes are constantly itching and stinging, I'm coughing and sneezing, can't clear my throat, and my sinuses feel like cement. It seems a lot of people are experiencing the same discomforts. I won't complain too loudly, we're a lot better off than those 30,000 poor evacuees (30,000!!), with possibly more to come.

@Nashcat, I hope your uninvited scaly friend doesn't decide to crash the party this weekend. Gaaa!!
@St-Gerard, I hope the docs got your Magnesium and any other out-of-whack chemical levels back to normal!

Everyone have a good one, stay safe (and cool) and go safely.

Patty

Good Morning, Thanks Keith for coffee, and yes good luck with the heart doc. Yes Patty, doc has got my Calcium and Magnesium at safe levels, more like the emergency ward of our local hospital. She will be checking my blood work that my oncologist has me do every cancer drug cycle.(Every 28 days) Must get religious about taking my Vitamins and Minerals, Ah the joys of life. Weather today will be perfect for a ride 53 F at 6:12 am high will be 72 F by 2 pm. Not much on the agenda other than open Airport gate and Ride, G

Back from the grocery store.

16 lbs of butt roast. 13 lbs of brisket. Oh, and something for the vegans in the group.

Patty, I haven’t seen him again, but I’m sure he’s still in the garage. I haven’t seen mice or chipmunks either, so I guess it’s a pretty good trade off. Reptiles don’t bother me, but I’ve considered burning down the garage over a big hairy spider.

A late G'mornin y'all! I woke up late yet still made it in to the office on time...yes I'm disappointed too as I prefer to spend as little time there as possible. I didn't ride today as I was carrying precious cargo, the old aircap mower is going to a new owner. It was a labor of love or at least of sympathy. Its a marvel of simplicity. A little less clutter now.

A very warm & stuffy 74F/23C this morning. I don't have an agenda yet for tonight. Prob mow the lawn. Eh, dunno. Thanks for the delish FR, Keith!

I think that was just their system trying to connect with your BT source. Some are set to autoconnect/autopair with any phone so will flip to another source without warning. Check that yours isn't set that way.

Otherwise, take care y'all!

Morning all! Another beautiful sunny blue sky day. We're getting spoiled. It's 14C right now, the high is predicted to be 21C.

Working from home again today so no commute on the ST. I have to take my wife to her neurologist appointment later today, she is getting a number of injections to see if they can ease her neurological chronic pain syndrome. Fingers crossed.

Once we're back, depending upon how she's feeling of course, it might be time to take the ST out for a spin and enjoy the weather.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon all!
Thanks for the hot Java Keith!
I made another dash to town, success this time!
My son Nick is now living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
He’s enjoying the life there, he really didn’t like living in Canada, so he relocated.
71/69 F, with. NE light breeze.
Enjoy your Thursday.

Methinks the MFG's of them "oh so modern new cars" just don't care about any FCC transmitter output limitations...

Our SENA bike to bike BT intercom works brilliantly in rural areas, but once you ride into settlements and new cars are in proximity, the range drops significantly...
Standing a a red light talking (like 3 feet apart!), as an EV pulls up... connection gone...

And you might recall my episode while waiting at a ferry port up in Norway, where a bloody IONIQ pulling up not only blew out my GSM reception, by doing so it also got me a 24 hour ban on FarceBook for "suspicious connection attempts"... pfffff... great new world...

So after breakfast Coffee and Eggs on toast, was still a bit hungry so had a bowl of Cheerios. The Pack expected to have some too.IMG_6961.jpg

Strange name for pets: "Coffee", "Eggs-on-toast" and "A-bowl-of-Cheerios."
I'm guessing Coffee is the smaller pup in the upper right corner, Eggs-on-toast is the cat, and A-bowl-of-Cheerios is the larger pup on the left.

:roflmao-2x:

Remember, @Capt_Gruuvy has cats named Chicken and Waffles.

Speaking of which, I wonder what's happening in Iowa...
