Tire Repair Kit Essential - Pliers

I was thinking about the tools in my tire repair kit and realized that the few times I've patched a tire (my cars and bikes) with gummy worms, every time I needed pliers to pull the offending nail or screw out of the tire. On one of my local BMW's club rides, we found a flat tire after lunch. Of course half a dozen tool kits were presented, including sockets, adjustable wrenches, and pliers which were used to yank the nail as well as a couple of types of tire plugging kits.

I did a search here and read a few threads with 'tire repair kit' - nowhere was there mention of how to yank the nail/screw before plugging. I've always carried far more tools than I'd ever need on my bike, but I am paring that down now. Needle nose pliers will always be included.
 
Dang it, just yesterday was organizing my OEM tool kit, needle nose pliers are not in it. Also have to put in a plug kit, and a small compressor. Now to buy a compressor that will fit under the seat beside the tool kit.
 
My tool kit includes the usual tire repair tools and gummy worms as well as my Slime mini-compressor. I swapped out the 12vdc plug that was on the compressor for a SAE connector. That compressor MUST have a 15 amp fuse on the plug so my BT SAE plug has a 15 amp fuse... and a big enough wire gauge to support the current.

I also include a 5 inch (corrected) Vise-Grip pliers. Small enough to easily fit in the tool pouch yet big enough to do anything I need to do that requires pliers on the bike. I also carry a Multi-Tool (like a Leatherman) so the needle nose function is available.

I always carry a Leatherman-type multi-tool which has needlenose pliers and the various other things multi-tools typically have.

Ditto, a Victorinox Swiss Tool X Plus covers pretty much all my possible mechanical (or surgical) needs out there...
And the last time I actually suffered a puncture, was it caused by a countersunk SPAX wood construction screw, which required to get unscrewed(!) out the rear tire carcass...
So out with above tool, and insert the PZ2 bit...

Was checking my tool kit on the bike and noticed that my multi-tool was missing! I searched all the places where I usually find my tools scattered but didn't find it. Therefore I ordered a new one to be here by Sunday and soon to be added to the side case where all my tools reside.
