Dang bad news. Sorry to hear it. Expect it to happen to me one of these days. See them on the road while riding every day ( looking at one eating grass in my front yard as I type). Doubt if he'll make it now, but if he does makes it to OH-SToc I suspect he will be giving out gentle hugs.

Just reading this now- sooo sorry to hear. I always worry when riding about hitting a deer or one of those turkey vultures that sits in the road and takes off when you’re right on it. Glad the vest did its job. Heal well and quickly! There’s plenty of replacement bikes out there.
