Heading to New Mexico. The Kawasaki COG group is having their National Rally in Bernalillo and that's the one state I haven't ridden in that is west of the Continental Divide. So...on the road again as Willie Nelson would say. (Can you say that without singing it?)
I didn't take many pictures on the first day. It was a rerun (pleasant rerun) of the ride over to Kamiah, ID for the COG Bun Cooler a few weeks ago. Yesterday, my 2nd day was a study in contrasting rides. The morning started out wonderful leaving Kamiah and heading along the river to Lolo Pass.
The afternoon was a different story. Lots of thunderstorms dotting the area. The temperatures varied from 53F to 80+. The bike was clean before I left. Not so much now.
Today was much nicer. Headed through Yellowstone Nat'l Park and down through the Grand Tetons.
Mammoth Hot Springs
Buffy in the background. I kept a close eye on them. I've had one chase me before!
And the Grand Tetons.
