While that advice was directed more at protecting the bars from the hose clamps during installation, you are correct of course. There is no better advice that can be offered to protect the bars from being scratched after installation than keeping the motorcycle upright.Ahem. It's a great bit of kit. When I ordered mine I knew there would definitely be occasions for use. But once installed it got used a lot more than I imagined. A great little farkle.My Pendale Parking brake is in the mail. I managed to get my order in 15 minutes before he shut the shop down till September. Looking forward to installing it.
