What did you do with your Yamaha today?

I repacked the Delkevic silencer on my Super Ténéré. Delkevic sells a kit for that but the stainless steel rivets they include are a lot tougher to set than the usual aluminum ones. I had to hit up Harbor Freight for a heavy duty riveter.

Sadly, I've done nothing with mine.

I'm afraid she's sat parked & covered since I picked up my ST 1300 a few weeks ago.

Just returned from Memorial weekend in Eureka Springs, AR. Brakes were shuddering when applied hard like a warped rotor. Ran across a clean the floating rotor bobbins so tried that and no more shudder. Saw some dude on youtube cleaning the bobbins by screwing a bolt and nut into the bobbin and turning to clean. I used an appropriate sized ease out that would fit into the center of the bobbin. Put the ease out into my reversing cordless drill and spun the bobbins both ways while spraying brake cleaner into the bobbin. Took the bike out and no more shudder. You might try that before ordering new rotors.

And it rained on us for the three days we were there. Rode up on Friday and perfect weather. Saturday morning rained until noon and then a great afternoon. Sunday, rained all day but did manage a burger at Oark General Store. Then Monday returning home rain until noon and then mostly clear the rest of the way home. Ozark riding is great, rain or shine.

Four Harleys and me. I did not have to go and get any parts for the Harleys. That's the only reason they let me tag along.

Went for a little 140 Km ride to Rice Lake to make sure my new installs didn't fall off!
Added a fender extender, rad guard, Givi bars and hard wired my Garmin and a pair of LED switch backs on the hand guards.
