What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Picked her up from the garage after a new timing belt and brake pads. Low on fuel so we went to the next Aral. And filled up...
I have a company car and a UTA fuel card so I haven´t had to actually buy fuel for the last two, almost three months and apart from a theoretical knowledge of what is going on at the pump for most part price has been abstract.
I filled up for 52 Euros!
The guy in the shop must have seen my bloodless face because he asked me if I needed a minute of silence.
I was whining louder than a wonky differential on the ride to the A98 and you should have heard my cry of pain when I injected myself onto the Autobahn and opened the taps.

So $70.00 Canadian. Yes indeed, that would have got my attention and those around me as well.
That’s, dare I say, crazy!
What is this world coming to…

Painted the ugly faded black plastic pn the saddlebags with a special plastic black spray can. Looks like new again! I'll do the lower shrouds next.
Why are the grey 03's with black wheels the best colour combo?

Well it was a relatively big day in the garage yesterday. After mounting the twin Fiamm highway blasters, I found the lower left wrapper had interference wth the horn so mcgyvered a solution with an additional L bracket to move it up out of the way. Man, those babies are much louder! Then mounted the Givi adapter plate & box that I had modded with the Admore LEDs,, tested my wiring and there is a lot of light back there now. Next I guess I have to drill a hole in the rear cowl to pass the cable throught to the box connection so off to the store to look for a suitable rubber grommet.
